The motel is conveniently situated right next to the highway, which might be beneficial if you are travelling by car. Additionally, it is quite close to the bus stop, which could be helpful if you don't have a car. There are also some shopping centres nearby.
The staff can be a bit blunt and unhelpful.

I greatly enjoyed the quiet position of the hotel, the staff were helpful! It made my trip to Cairns a good experience. It is not far from the airport. Free parking on-site was provided.

Good home base for a city trip in Cairns! Even the Cairns airport was not so far. Free Wi-Fi is good.

Friendly staff and clean rooms with all necessary amenities offered. Convenient location near public transportation stops and dining options. Enjoyed the use of the communal pool area and barbeque facilities.
No regular room servicing during the stay and limited cutlery provided. Some noise from nearby roads and lack of soundproofing in rooms could be an issue for light sleepers.

Management staff were very good and helpful. The hours though for reception were a little early for evening though we appreciate it did not operate 24 hours
Not being fully aware of how far out of the city area it was located i.e definitely not within walking distance to beach etc. When one does not know the locale of things this is a negative find, however bus stops were very handy and there were on site rental cars available for hire, unsure of exact price for rental car as charge back different from told. Saw this too late to do anything about it.

Love the pool and the BBQ. The first gaz BBQ I've seen in Australia
Don't take motel rooms, it's not a real kitchenette. It's just a toaster and a kettle.

We stayed at a motel during our Xmas holidays and were pleasantly surprised with the spacious and clean rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the free Wi-Fi in the room was excellent. we liked the fact that there was undercover parking and coded entry through gates for security reasons. The prime location of the motel made it easy to access the city, and the bus stop at the front door was an added advantage.
The air conditioning seemed to struggle during our stay, which made the room a little humid despite the cool enough temperature. , the lack of fly screens on the windows made it difficult to keep the mosquitoes out.

I liked the motel because I thought it was value for money and the pool area was nice, they were clean rooms also.
The one thing I didnt like about the hotel was the hot water ran out after just one person showering and the others had to have a cold shower, let the management know, she wasnt really interested.

We rarely travel to Cairns, but when we do, we like to stay in different places to enhance our experience. However, this hotel has proven to be our favorite choice. The location is great, with nearby attractions and shopping centers just a short distance away. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with any requests, and the pool was immaculately clean. The room amenities were top-notch, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette and the convenience of having a washing machine and dryer in the room. this hotel provided us with enhanced comfort and quality services.
The location being a bit far from the town center and not having many nearby dining options or shops. However, this can easily be overcome if you have your own transportation.
